March 14, 2009 and April 29, 2009 at Brown's inlet. The buds are narrow and pointed, many on stalks.

Bark

May 19, 2008 at Brown's inlet (Broadway Ave.). On right, March 21, 2009 at Brown's Inlet (Broadway Ave.) The stems are not always red. They can be mainly brown or grey, but turning red in areas. Young shoots are mainly green. March 21, 2009 Queen Elizabeth Dr near Landsdowne Park, near Fifth Ave Though yellow, these may be red osier dogwood. Wait for leaves and see.

Flowers

May 22, 2008. Brown's Inlet, Broadway Avenue. The flower cluster has a fair-size stem, which may help differentiate it from other dogwoods.

Fruit

June 14 and 21, 2008. Early berries. July 4, 2008.
